Dr. James Marusich was born and raised in Johnson City, NY. He graduated from Johnson City Senior High School in 2002 and Colgate University in 2006. Dr. Jim earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors from the University at Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine in 2010. He completed a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse, NY. Part of his residency was centered on oral surgery and Dr. Jim has continued to provide his patients with treatment options including dental implants to replace a single tooth or an entire arch of teeth, tooth removal with socket preservation, bone grafting and other periodontal procedures.
Dr. Jim and his wife Vanessa made the choice to return back to their hometown of Johnson City, NY where they are raising their four children. When not in the office, Dr. Jim is usually engaged in activities centered around his family and his love of sports. He coaches little league baseball and youth travel basketball. He is also an avid golfer and a diehard fan of the New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He and his family are members of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Binghamton, NY.
